Breath Magic: embodied anatomy of the lungs

$10.00

The breath is not work, and the body is not a machine in need of regulation. The breath is magic.

In this special Embodied Anatomy session, you’ll learn the anatomy and physiology of the breath as living poetry. You’ll learn how to practice the breath in a way that weaves you into deeper relationship with the living world, and your own living body.

You’ll learn:

  • The amazing origin of oxygen, and why breathing is time and space travel

  • The astounding size of the lungs

  • The relationship between the lungs, heart, and breathing diaphragm

  • The movement of the thoracic cavity

  • And importantly, how to breathe with a sense of ease and belonging within your own body.

This is not ‘breathwork’ to try and achieve a certain goal like greater calm or better productivity. This is the experience of the breath as both awe-expanding and deep solace.

The live session was on August 28th from 12-1pm EST. You will be sent the link to view the recording immediately upon purchase. The video includes a link to view all the slides at your own leisure.

Paid subscribers to Abigail’s Substack, Bones Made of Stardust, and members of Anchor Community do not need to pay to attend this event, and can find the recording in my Substack archive or in the Anchor Community Membership space.

There are no refunds, please purchase responsibly. Please refrain from sharing the zoom link and recording with others.
