A yearlong exploration into the Tarot, grounded by somatics.
The Tarot is a treasure trove of wisdom and guidance. It is a map, a storybook, and a guide, all at once. Learning to read the Tarot is a journey into the heart of all the complexities that come with being human. Our jealousies, our fears, our wisdom, our kindness: all of this is found in the Tarot.
Luminous is a year long journey with the Tarot, where you will learn the stories and guidance the Tarot offers, enabling you to read for yourself, and for others. It will give you the grounding necessary to create your own Tarot deck, should you wish (Abigail’s own deck, The Somatic Tarot, will be referenced throughout the course).
And importantly, in Luminous you’ll learn to embody the wisdom the Tarot offers. The cards come alive when they become invitations into our own cells, bones, and tissues.
In Luminous, we’ll meet on the 3rd Sunday of each month to devote our attention to the embodied study of two of the Major Arcana, making our way from The Fool to The Multiverse (or World or Universe, depending on your deck) through the turn of the wheel.
In each season, we’ll give our attention to the story of one of the suits of the Minor Arcana: the Pentacles, Wands, Swords, and Cups.
You’ll have the opportunity to have a personal reading with Abigail Rose Clarke at the turning point of each of the four seasons: the winter and summer solstice, and the spring and fall equinoxes.
You’ll learn how to give in-depth readings for yourself, and for others.
The Tarot will become your trusted guide and companion.
To participate in Luminous, you only need the desire to learn the Tarot and the commitment of one Sunday each month. You’ll need your own deck - Abigail’s Somatic Tarot is highly recommended for the course but is not required. All levels of experience are welcome, from the complete beginner to the advanced practitioner.
$2,000 if paid in full before 2024, or pay in 11 monthly installments of $200 ($2,200 total)
